Dan is helped backstage after getting squashed (both literally and metaphorically) by the GM, Concrete Duck when Jane Marsh approaches him with a microphone in her hand and a camera behind her.

"Dan, Dan. You had an impressive showing against Jake Hammer, but then you fell victim to that devastating Bundy Splash by GM Concrete Duck. What are your thoughts?"

Dan just stares at Jane, the fury behind his eyes obvious as he wipes a trickle of blood from his mouth. "What do I think? I think that Duck Boy has bitten off more than he can chew with me. I came into this federation to make a name for myself, to showcase my abilities for the fans. I politely suggest to him to give me a match against Mart Mong so I can get a feel of where I fit in his roster and he books me against that other newcomer...Jake Hummer was it? Is he even a wrestler or just a roadie who wanted his fifteen seconds of fame?"

Antina hands him a towel and a bottle of water before he continues. "And then he comes out and rags on ME for wanting to pick on the undercard here? Right before throwing me, already having wrestled once tonight, into a match against himself the Concrete Champion of the federation. I've got to give him props for taking matters into his own hands and not getting some flunky to do his dirty work, but beating up on an already fatigued and worn down opponent?"

Dan shakes his head as he takes a long drink of his water. "I expected better of you Duck, if you want to face the Judge then make it a fair fight, if you've got the guts to rise to the challenge. But it'll be on MY terms this time, you and me, submission match, no DQ. Or are you more CHICKEN than Duck?"

Dan pushes past Jane and her cameraman knocking them both to the ground as the camera goes black.
